Joanne has moved to a different facility to better fit her current rehabilitation needs. Unfortunately, there has been no change to her right side paralysis since her stroke. She is unable to move her right arm or use her right hand and is not able to bear weight on her right leg. Her vigorous therapy has her assisting with transfers from bed to chair and she also moved to a standing position with assistance. Joanne is giving this therapy thing her best shot! No surprise to any of us, she’s determined!

It is still easier for Joanne to use the landline phone in her room. Swiping on a smartphone with one hand presents challenges for all of us! Remember Arizona doesn’t change to daylight savings, so please keep that in mind when calling her. (Will be two hours different for Central time zone!).
