Last week Jim started having some right sided stomach pain. After spending the afternoon resting we decided it was best to take him into the emergency room. On the way to get the car Jim collapsed and the ambulance had to come and rush him to the hospital. Jim was admitted Monday 9/12 and was found to have some internal bleeding from his right kidney. They were unsure of the cause but were going to continue to monitor in hopes that it would stop on its own. On Friday they were going to discharge him, but decided they would wait and send him to an inpatient rehab center to work on some strength.
At 4am on Saturday morning Jim suffered a heart attack. He is now admitted to the ICU at Mercy hospital.
At this time we ask for prayers and no visitors for the time being.
