Jim’s Story

Site created on October 17, 2022

Welcome to Jim’s CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. On Friday, October 14th Jim suffered a debilitating heart attack that left him with a very long road to recovery. Along with the heart attack, he sustained a brain injury from lack of oxygen (to which we still don’t know the full extent of). He is currently sedated while his brain begins the healing process. Once he becomes fully responsive to commands, he then will need to undergo bypass surgery for his heart. The doctors estimate that there will be months of recovery and rehab work ahead of him. Although Jim has health insurance, there will still be a large sum that is not covered, along with other expenses. Please consider supporting Jim and his wife Michelle during these unforeseen times, anything helps. You can find more info on the GoFund Me campaign by clicking this link: https://gofund.me/8525fdad or by clicking  “More ways to help” above. Please pass along his Caring Bridge page and GoFundme campaign to anyone that may know Jim. We know that he is loved by so many and we are so appreciative of all the positive thoughts and prayers on his long road to recovery. We will be doing our best to post updates daily or every other day.
