Jim’s Story

Site created on June 12, 2019

This morning Jim collapsed while out at a field expo. Luckily, two guardian angels were there who immediately started CPR and more bystanders were able to call for help. He was taken to the ER in Austin, MN where they discovered he had a heart attack. They stabilized and then flew Jim to the Mayo ER in Rochester. By the time he landed, his heart had shown signs of improvement and he was later admitted to the Cardiac ICU. There they began to cool his body to allow time for him to recover before his journey ahead. He will most likely still need cardiac intervention in the near future. He is already showing signs of improvement based on his lab work and ability to follow commands. Please keep him in your hearts, minds, and prayers through the days to come.
