We have been getting asked about whether we are postponing dad’s memorial because of the snowstorm and the answer is we are not. It will be on Sunday from 1-4 with the short memorial service at 2:15. As we reflect back throughout the past month, it seems like no part of dad’s journey was easy when it came to the weather. We went through a polar vortex, a heavy snow fall and a blizzard. Not to mention just the occasional dusting of snow. It wasn’t easy by any means. And this weekend will also not be easy. We understand if you are unable to make it. We ask you to continue to please keep mom in your prayers as this adjustment has been very hard on all of us, but especially her as she navigates through her new normal without dad, the love of her life.
