As you may know Jim was in a traumatic motorcycle accident on Thursday 6/22/23 around 2:30pm. Jim was on his way home from work trying to beat the traffic on I-35 and 7th ave when a car merged into him, he was hit & corrected his bike, but the car began to merge again hitting him a second time sending him and his bike to drive up the concrete median. Jim landed head first/left side onto a car. If you know Jim you know he was PRO helmet and he was wearing his helmet. 
There was an EMT at the site when the accident happened and the EMT was able to establish IV access and obtain an airway for him. Thankfully the location of the accident was very close to KU medical center and he was transported there quickly.

Jim’s Celebration of Life will be on Friday, September 15th promptly (Fireman’s time)  at 5:00pm - 7:00pm. It will be located at Woods Chapel Methodist Church, 4725 NE Lakewood Way, Lees Summit MO 64064.
