Journal entry by Mary Langan —
Hello friends! It has been so many many months since I've posted on this site. I've appreciated all the prayers that you have offered for Jim's health. Your prayers have been answered! A week ago Jim had a pet scan to check the amount of cancer in his body. When we got the results we were so surprised by the news. The large tumor on Jim's kidney is not metabolic. That means basically it is dead and there's no cancer there. There's only one spot in one of Jim's lymph nodes that's still showing cancer. What does that mean for us right now? It means Jim will continue his treatments of immunotherapy every two weeks, or we may move to once every 4 weeks schedule. Jim is feeling well and tolerating the treatments. What this also means is instead of months to live. Jim has years to live which is such great news! It has been just over 2 years that we've been on this journey and we are so very grateful for all the support that we've received from so many friends such as yourselves! We really appreciate all the support and love that you have shown to us. Jim is doing well and we continue to be hopeful that the news regarding his health stays good. God bless you all and hope you have a great holidays!
