Jim’s Story

Site created on May 23, 2021

Welcome to Jim’s CaringBridge website.

I have been trying to keep everyone updated by email and text over the past few weeks and over time have realized that maybe some of you may have been overlooked, my apologies.

We thought that this might be the better way to share information and keep all of you updated with Dad’s progress. We are very moved by the outpouring of love, prayers, and support over the past several weeks.

It’s hard to put into words how much the condolences, cards, and messages we have received in the wake of Michelle’s passing have meant through all of this. We are so very grateful for all of the heartfelt thoughts, words, and prayers that have come from all of you.

The support of meals and care packages sent to us here in the hospital and to Michelle’s children (Nick and Christine) and to my sons (Alec and Aidan) who are holding down the fort while I am spending nights up here with Dad, is beyond appreciated. I am moved to tears as I write this.

We also want you to know that although Dad and I are unable to respond to all of what is said these days, we have read EVERY email, received every letter and card.  We are touched beyond words.

Because of the COVID-19 restrictions, Dad is only allowed 2 visitors and they are the same two individuals throughout his stay. He is never alone, either Jimmy or myself are with him around the clock.

Keep those prayers coming 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️
