Jim’s Story

Site created on March 27, 2019

Pastor Jim  Humann was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma in his  jaw and lymph nodes two  weeks ago.  After getting several teeth pulled in November and January there was a  pain that persisted afterwards.  Doctors found a cancerous tumor growing on his jaw.  The cancer has since moved to his lymph nodes.  After consulting with his doctors and getting a second opinion, the best course of action is to have surgery followed by radiation.  Once surgery and radiation are complete then it will be determined if chemo is necessary.

A huge thank you to all who came to my dad's memorial service or watched the live stream.  It was such a blessing to have all of you in my dad's life!  Thank you for the many cards, well wishes, texts, phone calls, and memorial gifts.  May God bless all of you!

I know my dad had the best birthday ever yesterday right next to Jesus!  To God be the Glory!

Signing off for the last time,

Brian
