On Monday 5/23, our Dad got discharged from the hospital!!

After careful discussion with his care team, Dad, Ashley, Bob and I (Brianna) opted to have Dad go back to his apartment with homecare instead of a TCU ("short-term nursing home/facility"). Dad's brother Bob has been an integral part of this plan. He was willing to come up to the cities and stay with Dad for a few weeks as he transitions home. Dad is still on supplemental oxygen and IV antibiotics. He has had daily check-ins with a Nurse Practioner (NP) via phone/tablet. He will have several upcoming in person follow-up appointments as well. 

We are all incredibly thankful for the ongoing love and support over the last (almost) three weeks!
