The good news keeps on coming!! Dr. Nakeeb came in this afternoon and said Dad is doing so well, if he would like to go home, he sees no reason not to. I’m sure you can all guess what his answer was!! 

By the time the discharge responsibilities were completed, it was a little after 5 pm. They made it home, the car is unpacked, not much is put away yet, but Dad has eaten, taken a pain pill, and is now resting. There’s nothing like your own bed, am I right? 

Again, we appreciate all the offers for meals, visits, errands etc, but they don’t need a thing right now and Dad would prefer to recover quietly at home. Mom promises she will reach out if she needs help or doesn’t feel like cooking 😉

This will most likely be our last post. We again want to sincerely thank everyone for the care, concern, prayers, and other support you’ve given us. We could not have made it without you. ❤️
