Newest Update

Journal entry by Heidi Kooistra

I started my 3rd annual rucksack hikes to raise money for the STOP SOLDIER SUICIDES fundraiser. I must complete at least 50 miles during the month of May. I'm now hiking between 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 miles per day since May 1st. It feels good to be helping our wounded heroes again!

My first week of cardiac rehab went very well.  It is physical therapy. The leader said she usually has to motivate her clients, but she needs to put the brakes on me.

I have served as a greeter at Gateway Church the last two Sunday mornings. I'll begin to listen to Ephesians tomorrow as I'm going through the New Testament.

Thank you all again for your support and prayers!
