A quick update - Jim's recovery has been going very well at home, although there was a blip a couple of days ago when his low blood pressure caused his legs to buckle. He hit his nose and broke his glasses, but luckily no other major issues. Low blood pressure is not uncommon when you're recovering from a serious infection and/or pulmonary illness that required longer periods of bed rest, but we'll be getting that checked out with a cardiologist to be sure.
After falling, Jim wanted to err on the side of caution and was taken to the Methodist ER and admitted again briefly, but was home and doing better by the next day. Special thanks to the Gambills who acted as his taxi service to get him home since Eric and Zeba were in Fort Davis. And ongoing gratitude to all of you who continue to offer good thoughts, prayers, support, and help throughout all of this!
A $25 donation to CaringBridge powers a site like Jim's for two weeks. Will you make a gift to help ensure that this site stays online for them and for you?
