Journal entry by judy arnold —
For those of you who have been following Jim's Journey, I said I would send my next update after his surgery was completed.
Everything went well, though a bit longer than I expected. (2 and half hours instead of 1 hour) We are both thankful this is over and hope this resolves what he has been going through. Right now he is a bit sore. He will see his urologist on Monday to remove the catheter and again 2 weeks later for a final check-up. His urologist is both very good and kind!!
Once again, we both know that a lot of you who are our age as well as those younger have your own health issues. We wish you well, too!
A HUGE THANK YOU for your thoughts and prayers, ETC.! We wouldn't even begin to make a list of everything and everyone, as we know Jim and I would forget some of you.
This will be my LAST entry in this Caring Bridge site.
Please feel free to call Jim anytime and here I go again with my one restriction: best to call after 9:00 a. m.
For all of Jim's Menogyn and IWL board members and friends- he will be joining you again when he feels he is up to it, which should be soon. (a decision I will let him make, of course.)
