Today is the one year anniversary of my heart transplant. I’m beyond grateful and humbly thank God for this tremendous gift.  Only by God’s grace could I have faced and triumphed the miracle of a heart transplant. I’m doing very well. I feel good, am active and enjoy being out in the community.  I’m back at Mayo for annual testing this week and will return for quarterly checkups in the year ahead.  Mayo is beyond amazing, and I am so thankful for the transplant team who continues to watch over me very closely.

 

As I look back over the past year, God continues to show me that He is in every detail big and small!  In every situation, the Lord boldly impressed upon my heart that He was with me and ready to help.  These are sweet reminders that He is sovereign over the circumstances of our lives, and He will use all things for our good and His glory!
