Both Jill and Randy are battling cancer and are going through chemo.
They are courageous, and we are in their fight with them.

In  the days ahead, Jill, Randy, Ethan and Davis will need our hope and prayers, our support,  AND some meals and goodies delivered to their door.  So, let's show our love for the Cooks, and be some creative "cooks"  for the family!
Thanks so much for  signing up to bring a meal. We are aiming for “once a week”  meal volunteer,  with a request to simply drop off.
Also, we ask that you wear your mask and refrain from visiting, both to help prevent any COVID-19  spread, and to avoid any extra exertion on Jill and Randy.
Note: Randy will need choices of easy-to-swallow soft foods, so please include items like soups, or sides like mashed potatoes and rice (no spices, please).

** We love you, Jill and Randy!

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve me… you stretch out your hand, and your right hand delivers me.
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.” – -Psalm 138:7-8

(July 2019)
Thank you for joining in showing our Love for Jill! Jill was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and started chemotherapy on July 7.

The cancer was discovered during other diagnostic tests for an autoimmune disease.

Jill is much LOVED as, wife, mother, office manager & co-worker, friend, and neighbor. She is relying on God’s strength during this unexpected trial, and she is saying YES to offers for prayers, meals, rides, and support. So, we invite you to show your love for Jill by following these updates and prayer requests, and offering your help. Thank you for your love for Jill, and husband Randy, and sons Ethan and Davis.

Journal entry by Liz Gurevitch

This week we reflect on many things we are thankful for. I am especially thankful for my dear friend Jill and good news with her surgery. She’s had a bit of a set back with an infection,  but is healing from that. When she’s healed enough, she will have 3 more rounds of chemotherapy. Jill met with the doctors today and the goal is to schedule chemotherapy for December 13. Please pray that she’ll continue to heal and be able to have chemo on the 13th. Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving. Love, Shellie
