Hey there my dearest friends and family! Ahhhhhh where do I even begin in expressing the love and gratitude I feel for each and every person who cared for, nurtured, fed, shown support, positivity, understanding, cried with, laughed with, hugged, kissed, and loved us through this ordeal. The way we have been taken care of and supported through all of this is indescribable. I am overwhelmed with emotion when I think of what you all have done for us. From taking your time to message me with love to the time it takes to shop for, prepare, and deliver a meal, to caring for the dogs, the house, the boys, and me and Toby. I am overcome with love and appreciation for all of you amazing humans. Please visualize me sending all of you all the love I can muster, I will always have each of you in the most special place in my heart. Thank you for carrying us through the hardest journey we have ever been on, thank you for lifting us up and making sure life still remains normal for my boys. Love you all, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So chemo is O-V-E-R!!!! OMG I am so relived to not have to deal with all the crap that goes along with treatment. I was actually blessed this last cycle and and did not have the horrific side effects I had experienced the few cycles before....it was a good way to peace out form chemo.
It will be a bit of a journey to get my health and my body back to normal but I am so ready and so motivated. I am hoping the further I move away from treatment the less aches and pains I will feel. Still having a good amount of achiness and a bit of neuropathy in my hands and feet but I know as I head into this new journey of health those things should go away as the chemo leaves my body.

Ok so here is what is happening currently and what is to come :-)
Last week I had my post chemo CT scan and met with Dr Chan in San Francisco as well as the team I have been seeing at UC Davis. Both Docs said the scan looked pretty good with the exception of enlarged lymph nodes on both the right and left side of my groin. Docs did not seem overly alarmed about this but did inform me it needed to be looked into. I was not surprised about this as I had reported groin pain and an enlarged node I felt back in December. Unfortunately this finding made it so I technically could not be declared NED (no evidence of disease) in the pelvis. They did not see any additional concerns in the chest or abdomen so report did say NED in those areas.
What is happening next in regards to enlarged nodes, I will have an ultrasound and another CT scan and based on those findings will biopsy. My heart tells me that this is not going to derail my journey to health, however my head of course has a bit of a nagging worry as to what it could be.... buuuuuut I am going to go with my heart on this one :-)

Aside from the annoying lymph nodes everything else is GOOOOD. We are all in a good place and I am feeling hopeful for the future. I love you all so very very much and truly hope you know what you all mean to me. Sending all of you all the love and gratitude we feel in our hearts. Thank you for being our rainbow in this dark cloud we call cancer.

Love,
Jill, Toby, Jonah, and Abram
