Today we had Joanna’s one month post surgery follow up at Cincinnati. She went in for a scope under anesthesia around 8:00 am this morning. The urologist and colorectal surgeons wanted to see how everything was healing internally. The urologist was really happy with how the urethra was healing and is currently planning to close up her vesiscostomy in January. The colorectal surgeon said everything looked good internally but wanted to revise some of the outside sutures to make them more secure for healing. She will do this in January when the vesticostomy is taken down and then if everything heals well she will plan to close the ileostomy in February. All in all it was good visit and now we can rest and enjoy the holidays before the next procedure in January. Thank you for your continued prayers for JoJo!
