Tomorrow is one year since I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Let me tell you all the miracles my Jesus performed in this year.

I had 7 biopsy’s, 16 weeks of chemo, 33 radiation treatments, 3 surgeries, and lost all of my hair 😉 I am in the maintenance stage of treatment and the cancer has no hormones to feed on so I should remain in remission forever! 

The miracles in all of this is the restoration of relationships and friendships. Finding what and who is most important in my life and how best to spend my time. I had so much love given to me from friends and family- WOW- Jesus loved me through everyone!  I had a 95% response rate to Chemo- that is UNBELIEVABLE! Very minor radiation burns. I am handling menopause better than I thought I would be. I am only sassy sometimes. 

 I am back at work full time and my energy gets better everyday. 

I have a head full of the most amazing curly hair- what a gift to have “chemo curls”!

My granddaughter told me this morning “you are not old, you are new”,

She is right- Jesus has made me new and more alive than ever!
