I have not updated in a while but Jess is making some really good progress. This week she was moved to a step down ICU at the hospital and they are preparing to move her back to the rehab facility to once again begin her rehab. We all feel she can now do her rehab without one hand tied behind her back now that the medical staff at LGH has rid her of all that was holding her back. She has had a new shunt put in and this was put into a different location and the doctor monitored the flow of fluids before placing the tube inside Jess so as to be certain they get the flow correct. Jess is the ultimate warrior and is fighting so hard to get home to her loved ones. We all miss her badly and please continue to pray for her as her journey back to us took a major detour but those of you that know Jess she never minded a detour and always found her way home.
