Journal entry by Dana Kelly —
It’s been quite a while since we’ve given an update. Today has been a very special day. Jessica officially is 100 days post transplant as of tomorrow 10/19 and was given the go ahead to come home today. So we had the car packed and ready when we went to her doctors appointment and we left as soon as it was done. She had tears of happiness, as it seemed like this day was so far away. She still has a ways to go but she’s well on her way and will continue her follow up in Fargo and will occasionally have to return to the U Of M for testing. Tomorrow we go pick up the kids and get them registered for school back at home. A big shout out to Katlyn Castillo for taking care of the kids for the last four months and the rest of the family who helped as well. I will be staying with Jessica for a few more months as she gets her strength back. Thank you all for your love, Prayers and kindness through her journey. 🧡
