Jessica’s Story

Site created on January 18, 2018

After years of waiting, Mattia and I are so excited to welcome our first child - a little girl - into the world! The pregnancy went so well until about 26 weeks, when my water broke prematurely and I was sent to Bergan Mercy Hospital here in Omaha. In order to prevent infection and postpone the premature delivery as long as possible,  I am on hospitalized bedrest until baby is born. Mattia and I are just trying to take things one day at a time, knowing that each day we delay baby's birth is a huge step forward for her development. We will be using this site to update our friends and family weekly on how baby and I are doing. We feel truly blessed at the number of prayers and well-wishes we have received during this difficult time, and we would like to thank everyone for your continued support!
Love,
Jessica, Mattia, and Baby Tucksen
