Jesse’s Story

🙏 PRAYERS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY PLEASE 🙏

If you know Jesse (Carn) or Ashlynn, you know how selfless they both are. They care about each other more than themselves, and they are always willing to help a friend when needed. They both have helped me with my nonprofit organization more than I can count on both hands.
Recently, Ashlynn gave birth to their beautiful baby girl, Ember.
Jesse has been having some medical problems lately but continued to push them off because he was more worried about his family than himself. This week on 1/16/24  he was let go of his job that he's been at for over 20 years, which was his insurance provider. He loved his coworkers and job position.
Yesterday, Ashlynn finally convinced Jesse to go into the doctor, and they found that Jesse has a brain bleed. They instantly took Jesse to Sioux Falls, and found that his brain is extremely swollen and has a bad infection possibly. Scarily, Jesse didn't even know his fiance, Ashlynn's name last night.
PLEASE pray from Jesse, Ashlynn, the kids and their families. ***NO VISITORS AT THIS TIME PLEASE***

I know neither of them will ask, but please consider sending monetary donations to Ashlynn's Venmo to help assist with bills, meals and medical expenses during this time.

Journal entry by Ashlynn Cavin —

Jesse has been doing good! He does therapy once a week and is gonna start cardio rehab this week on top of PT. In April we had to schedule a brain scan again in Sioux Falls because of a blood clot in the back of his neck and for his traumatic brain injury. Jesse stroke didn’t really affect his physical well being other than losing muscle lost from being bed bound for so long! But it did cause a lot of issues on the inside. He will forever be battling a kidney disease, and will always have a traumatic brain injury. His stroke also hit his emotional side a lot. And that is something we are gonna start working on! The mental battle of this all has been really hard! Him and I are both really struggling but we can see the good in all of this as well! It’s definitely brought our family’s closer! Please keep praying for us as we continue this long journey! God plans are always better than what we had in mind for our lives ❤️
