Our beautiful daughter Jessica passed away on January 29, 2023 at 2:10 pm at our home in Aylett, Virginia. She took her final breaths with her husband, father, and mother at her bedside, holding her hands and telling her how much she is loved. Although we are overwhelmed with grieving our loss and how much we miss her, we know she is fully restored and rejoicing in heaven with our God and Savior and we hold on to the hope that we will see her again when we depart this world.
Thank you to everyone who attended the memorial and to all who have been supporting us through this painful journey. I will not mention names for fear I will miss someone, but please know your prayers, love, meals, gifts, support and thoughts were felt. We have been held up by the hands of many angels around us.
I cannot imagine this journey without the help of hospice and feel that Jessica’s choice to stay out of the hospital gave her time with her family that she would not have been able to enjoy. She stayed true to her faith and gentle spirit all the way to the finish line and she left a legacy of love and light behind. May every memory you have of Jess be precious and draw you closer to Jesus because that is the purpose she lived for.
