Update 3.5.2021 - Today marks 6 months since Jerry's accident - what a blessing it is to have him here and making great progress!

On Saturday September 5th, 2020 Jerry and Terri were headed to Wisconsin on their motorcycles to have lunch when a car pulled out in front of Jerry too fast for him to move and he hit the car t-boned at 55 mph. (Terri was far enough back on her own bike to move to the side). Jerry is ALIVE and will SURVIVE this horrific accident - however he does have a long road of recover ahead of him. Upon arrival to the hospital, they did a full body trauma scan and determined that Jerry had internal bleeding in his pelvic area in 2 places, both left and right wrists shattered and broke his pelvis in several places including his pubic bone and his sacrum.

Miracles, Miracles, Miracles

FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS!

Those miracles would not have happened without all three.

It has been six months to the date of my accident, September 5, 2020.

My emotions are overwhelmed by all your prayers, kindness and generosity! I have no doubt God was present when I went straight into the side of a car going 55 mph.

My family has been at my side the entire time. Terri reached me within seconds of the crash. Both Jenny and Terri were there from the time I entered the emergency room and through my 43 days in the hospital.

I appreciate so very much my daughter Jenny letting you know of my progress through CaringBridge.

The words “Thank You” do not seem to be enough to let you know how grateful I am to have you in my life.

God Bless each and every one of you! I love you all more than you can imagine!
