Hello friends and family! It has been a busy couple of days since our last post. Dad is progressing fabulously. They have removed almost 13 pounds of water from his body, he is going into A fib less sporadically, his breathing is much better and oxygen levels are right where they are supposed to be. His therapy team has him up moving around and walking the halls 4 times a day. Today when they came in the asked him where he would like to walk to and he said “ the parking lot would be nice” 😂 His cardiac team visited twice today and they feel comfortable with his release to transitional care. We are waiting patiently for a room to become available with hopes of a move for him on Monday. Mom continues to shower him with love, hugs and kisses daily and can’t wait for sweet dad to be home.
