Jerry’s Story

Site created on March 9, 2019

Welcome to our Jerry’s Caringbridge site. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

As you are all well aware of by now. On March 7th dad was airlifted from I-Falls to Duluth. Karey was told in I-Falls that dad’s kidneys and heart were failing. It happened so fast for her. Once they arrived at St.Mary’s the flight nurse called Karey to let her they were there but also informed her that they lost him once in flight and once when they arrived in the ER. As we all know dad (Jerry) he is a fighter and that he did. They were able
To stabilize him and he was moved from ER to Coronary Critical ICU where he has been fighting. He was intubated In I-Falls to take the stress off his heart and his body so they didn’t have work so hard. So yes he is on a ventilator but we were reassured that if the ventilator was removed he would be able to breath on his own. He is a very sick and critical man..
We will keep this site updated as we get updates as dad (Jerry) has ALOT of kids, family and friends that are praying for him.
We are asking for strength and prayers for dad, his wife Karey and his kids (Jerry, Paul, Mike R, Cindy, Mike G, Becky, Sandra, Bode, Shannon, Stacie, Keli and Tracy)
