Journal entry by Betsy Engrav —
Early June we got an update on Jeremy’s most recent MRI. We were relieved to hear the tumor has reduced in size. His blood flow has increased significantly since his previous MRI’s. There is some residual that no one can be certain if this is dead tumor tissue, active tumor cells, or inflammation without doing a biopsy. They will continue to monitor that area but overall doctors are very impressed and excited with the results so far.
Jeremy started an infusion treatment plan which was 4 total infusions every 3 weeks. Today marks his last infusion! The infusion was meant to clean up the radiation necrosis and help with inflammation that was in the bothersome and causing symptoms. The infusion made for a much clearer scan for us to get good news.
We appreciate all of the support we have received. We couldn’t ride this roller coaster without our family, friends, and community!
