Thank you again for coming back and checking in on updates on Dad!

It's been over three weeks since he had his stroke and was admitted to KU Med. He is out of the ICU and currently still in the hospital continuing to work on getting stronger and to a place where he can be released. 

Dad will be released from the hospital in the coming days (praying all continues to go well!) and will head to Mid America Rehab Hospital in Overland Park. He will spend time there to receive care, physical therapy and support until he's ready to head back to the farm. And you all know that ALL he wants to do is get back to the farm ;) 

This will be a long and new journey for all of us. But because we know what a hard and determined worker Jere McElhaney is, we are optimistic of the future that we will make!
