Jennifer Hamrick Brinegar, age 47, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 19, 2021.  Jennifer grew up in Mesquite, Texas, graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in social work and was married to her sweetheart, Burt Brinegar for over 25 years.  She faithfully worked with MHMR of Tarrant County and the State of Texas for 20 years as a social worker with blind children. Jennifer was passionate about studying God’s Word and encouraging others with the scriptures that she hid in her heart.  Although she was limited in how she could serve in the church, she devoted herself to supporting her husband in his church ministry duties all the years of their marriage.  In spite of her own physical ailments, Jennifer was eager to pray for others; desiring that they too would trust in Jesus to supply all that they need through Him. 2 Timothy 4:6-8 depicts her deep faith in the Lord.

“For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.“

Jennifer dearly loved her family and is survived by her husband, Burt Brinegar, father Larry Hamrick, step mother, Carol Hamrick, and sister Stacy Hernandez with her husband, Gabe and daughters Chloe and Izzy.  She has joined her mother, Ada Gilmore-Hamrick with Jesus.

A Celebration of Life and Faith Service is being held on Saturday, June 12, 2:00 p.m., at Ridglea Theater, 6025 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, Texas. Guests are invited to stay for a reception after the service.  As Jennifer was completing her race, she requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Paradox Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
