Day +15 -- Jailbreak.  That's right, going home in a few hours.  Just need to get her PICC line removed, medications squared away, and discharge paperwork in order and we are out of here.  Get to sleep in our own bed tonight -- first night since July 11.  She will report to her Oncologist in GR on Friday for blood tests.  We are hoping that if those all look good we will not have to return to Ann Arbor for a clinical visit next week.  But, even if we do, this sure beats sitting around in a hotel room over the next 4 days in this Covid environment waiting for that clinical visit to happen.  You know what else is nice, this may be the last time that I ever have to post anything on this website again.  Let's at least hope so anyway.  Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, tributes, journal entries, etc., etc.  It means a lot.  Even though this procedure is behind us now, the recovery is not.  Still a lot of work to do over the next 85 days, but Jen is up to it and ready to conquer this beast.  For now, home awaits, which is incredibly welcome.
