Yesterday I had an outpatient surgery to get one of my leg plates out that’s been hurting badly. I was very nervous about this surgery and hopeful that it would work.
Good news! By the afternoon, I could stand on that leg alone and it didn’t hurt. This has been an issue this entire recovery. I’m so hopeful now that I can have a more fruitful and full recovery.
This surgery recovery is pretty simple. Just recovering from the incision basically. No restrictions really other than to keep it bandaged.
Follow up in two weeks and then we shall see what’s going on. In the meantime, I’m grateful.
