Journal entry by Chris Petricka —
Sorry it's been awhile since an update has been done. Since the bone flap surgery jenn has been doing well and her post op scans looked good and incision is healing nicely. At the post op Kelly and Jenn mentioned to the neurologist that she's been sleeping alot more then before the surgery and the doctor said it's just her body recovering.
Now let's fast forward to six weeks post surgery.... Kelly and jenn were heading to kenyon to pick Jamie up from school and jenn had a seizure. Jenn was taken by ambulance to Cannon Falls. They did blood work, head CT and chest xray. They all looked good but the ER doctor consulted the on call neurologist and after review she got put on a seizure medication and sent home. She was instructed to follow up with her neurologist with in 3 weeks but she's hoping to get in sooner. Before Kelly left her tonight jenn said she was doing ok just a little nausea from not eating. We'll update as we feel necessary but good thoughts and prayers are appreciated as we try figuring out this new medical issue
