I know you may feel like this news is hopeless. To be honest I'm not thrilled either, and I find it hard to post on here when I feel I don't have the greatest news to share. But, please know I've been sticking pretty dang close to my Big Buddy Jesus, and I know He has a plan and a purpose here. Here's what I think it might be...... to fight hard, and that means not only physically but mentally. My mind plays a HUGE part of this. And if I'm not standing firm and confident in my faith, I'm not doing my part. So, please know I am full of hope. We CAN win this with Christ leading the way. I believe in our prayers asking for healing, guidance, strength, vision for the future, and I'm doing my best to place my trust in Jesus with everything. Especially with what I don't understand. My body is still able to fight, and my mind is strong and encouraged every single day. I see my blessings, I love my life, even if I don't always like how I feel. God shows up for me every single day. He loves me and I love Him. I continue to ask for your prayers. They are encouraging, filled with love, hope and all of the other good things I forget.

My radiation treatments (after 3) are already wiping me out, buy only 8 more to go! Let's believe this part of God's plan will work. And the cancer will leave my body. 

Specific prayer requests: 

My port site is very bruised and tender, relieve that pain. 

The cancer is killed and contained with the radiation treatments. 

My back had also become very painful (especially in the morning) as the cancer has metastasized into my back and sternum. 

Pray for my family as we continue to live and navigate through this disease. 

Wrapping up with some positives, spring is bringing wonderful weather and the birds are singing!! 

My boys have started baseball!! I love being able to be there to watch them do what they love.
