Journal entry by Jenifer Lichty —
Hello everyone! Today Kage is 3 weeks old and is doing pretty good! He had a rockstar weekend with keeping all his stats perfect! They are doing a bronc today to see why his right lung is still fully calapsed and his left partly calapsed. They think it is mucus and with this they will be able to hopefully suction it out! He is still doing well with his heart rate in the 130's he did earn himself a mitten on his hand as he keeps grabbing things and pulling! He is up to 6ml of feeding an hour and every 12 hours they go up! I got to change his diaper for the first time today as well. They are talking about moving to the centrameg machine after they get his lungs to inflate and work again as well. There is talk about going to the or to try and place another form of pic line as the one in his neck needs to be moved and he doesn't have many places to move it to! That's all I have for now since he is doing pretty well with staying stable! Thank u for the continued prayers they are very much appreciated! Jen!
