It’s hard to believe it’s been 1 year since you made heaven your forever home.  Life with you was so perfect, so easy, and so rewarding.  I loved every minute of it...and yet still feel fulfilled after 1 year without you.  Grief isn’t fun, but its a powerful teacher.  I have learned so much about myself in the last year, and know I can handle anything.  You taught me how to be strong...even when I don’t want to be.  I miss our dynamic and all of the fun we had, but live by your words to me “Life doesn’t end when I’m gone.  I’ll always be with you”. You said that, and placed your hand on my heart.  Never have words rung so true.  That is forever imprinted on my soul...just like you are.  You will be happy to know I am having the adventures you made me promise I’d do.  Some are not yet allowed in his post-apocalyptic covid world, but are on the agenda.  You gave people close to me instructions to help me along.  They are carrying out your wishes.  The kids speak of you often and share the greatest memories.  We had a great moment at dinner this week - a simple convo turned into a full-blown analysis of our engagement and your ring.  We brought it out and studied every detail.  Brandon has plans for that ring, and Katelyn does for your band.  We miss you and always will.  Our hearts are not empty or have a hole in them...they are scarred.  Every scar tells a story, and yours in an amazing tale.  Today is really like any other day for us, but maybe a bit more reflective.  I know you are proud of us.  Thank you for the amazing ride ❤️❤️❤️
