A bit long, but worth it. Celebration of Life details below.

Sometimes life is mystical, and coincidence may not be coincidence at all.  This picture popped up as a memory yesterday. It was a moment from that day, 8 years ago, that would qualify for our top 20 most joyous times. We stumbled onto a band, GoGoGadget performing at Tellus360.  The music was so skilled and powerful, and we danced like crazy women until we couldn't dance anymore.  Jeff wasn't much for dancing, but he loved watching me and dear friends let loose and have a ball. He'd find a spot and bop a little in place with a huge grin in his face.

Jeff's one request was an "unfuneral". He wasn't a man afraid of tears, but he wanted a celebration that didn't feel like a funeral. As we sat in our living room yesterday, brainstorming venues that didn't quite feel right, I got a phone call. Tellus360 was offering to gift Jeff the use of their large, beautifully decorated venue space.

The very place we enjoyed so often, and have such wonderful memories of will be the site of the celebration of his DASH....that is that line between 1966 and 2022 that represents what he did with his "dash".

Parking in the adjacent garage.
Casual dress, maybe even LS attire, or blue and white.
We are serving light refreshments that will remind us of Jeff.
5-6. Casual social gathering
6-7. A celebration of Jeff's life....what he did with his "dash".
Friends are welcome to stay later. There is a good band playing downstairs. Nothing would make Jeff smile more than seeing the people he loved dancing like crazy.

Thank you dear friends Lynn Walker, Susan Von Der Luft, and Murray Miller for helping to put this together. And Kevin and Emily at Tellus360 for you generosity.

Is it a coincidence that our favorite Tellus360 memory shows up the day we are offered their spectacular space for his celebration?... I'm thinking not.
