I will keep this brief because I think that's all I can handle right now but I wanted to let you all know that Jeff passed away late last night. 

I was with him and was able to hold him as he took his final breaths.

This has been a very difficult couple of weeks and he declined very rapidly, more each day.  But through it all Jeff knew he was loved by all of you and we appreciated your support both in person and virtually.  

I need to work out details but the plan at this point is for Jeff to be cremated and to have a Memorial/Remembrance celebration that is more fitting for Jeff than a traditional service.  It wont be immediate so that family can come in and that I have time to make it ROCK for him.
