Jeffrey Charles “Jeff” Hill, 35, of Lilburn, GA passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at Emory Hospital. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Donna Hill; aunts, Wanda Devereaux (Jerry Baxley), Melinda Hill and Beverly Darnell; uncles, Scott, Todd and David Hill; and Godparents, Charles and Karen Carlan.
Jeff was born in Decatur, GA. He attended Brookwood High School in Snellville and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Georgia Southern University with a Psychology major. After college he taught severely autistic children in the Gwinnett County School System for several years. He also served as Camp Staff for Spectrum Atlanta. Working with autistic children was Jeff’s passion and his greatest gift.
In later years Jeff went into business with his father at Delta Refrigeration Company, LLC where he became a skilled refrigeration mechanic. He enjoyed all sports but particularly the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He was a member of Cannon United Methodist Church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Spectrum.
