Jeff’s Story

Site created on June 4, 2018

Jeff Harlow was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2013. His condition has deteriorated from that time and he is now in need of a kidney transplant. Praise to gracious God! After months of testing and waiting Jeff’s wife, Lori has been approved to be his donor. The donation and transplant surgeries are scheduled for Monday, June 11th. We are so grateful for the wonderful care Jeff and Lori have received from his various doctors, especially the team at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, where the transplant will be performed. We also have an incredible “team” of family and friends who are helping to make this happen. We love you all! Our next update will be Monday June 11th after surgery.

Journal entry by Lori Harlow

Just passing on a blessing from today. For 3 years I missed Jeff’s hands warming mine due to his kidney disease making his hands COLD. Today in church his big strong hand warmed me up again! A little thing to be very thankful for! God cares about the details!!
