Jefferson’s Story

Site created on July 14, 2023

July 14, 2023- Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. God blessed our family with two little twin boys, Jefferson Thomas Webster Jr. and Jefferson Thomas Webster III. Jefferson Thomas Webster III passed away at around 3 months gestation. Jefferson Thomas Webster Jr. was diagnosed with tetralogy of Fallot, a complete AV canal and trisomy 21. His due date was August 23, 2023 but he was born July 19, 2023 via C-section after spontaneous labor. Mom ruptured at 27 weeks gestation. It is a miracle we made it 8 weeks before spontaneous labor. 🥳This will be a log of Jefferson Webster (J2) journey and life through his hospital stay and surgery. 💗

Journal entry by Jen Webster

Jr. Had his 2nd open heart surgery yesterday. He came back from the OR with his chest open. So far he has been pretty stable considering everything. The plan is to try and take him back to surgery within a few days to try and close his chest again. Jr. is still responding to our voices even with a paralytic. He will be getting his first  visit from Santa today (one of the cardiologists). Yesterday while J2 was in surgery we solidified a name and logo for his soap business. Someday J2 will have some very special soap products for you. ❤️
