My assistant is fired for never updating Mom’s page. My apologies! 

BIG NEWS! 

Mom went home this morning! ❤️ 96 days have passed since her stroke and she worked her ass off everyday to get where she’s at right now. We are so proud of her. 

Mom is walking by herself, does all of her cares on her own with some modifications and she can now flip people off with her right hand. All very important functional tasks! 😅😆
She will continue with outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy back in Lexington - we are so happy to have her back west for some normalcy. I know her grandkids back there have sure missed seeing their Jean Jean. 

Finding the words to fully express how thankful our family is impossible. To all the friends and family for the prayers, cards, gifts and visits, thank you. It helped keep mom’s spirits up and motivated her. We are also SO grateful for the hospital staff at Bryan and for the team at Old Cheney Rehab- the care you provided mom was incredible and her progress is a testimony to your service. You never gave up on her - thank you.
