Journal entry by Christy Nottingham —
Hello all! A new note today from Jeanie to update on the last couple of months and the wonderful progress! ♥️
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Hello again Caringbridge.
It has been 13 weeks since the deck crash.
At home for the last seven weeks I have made steady strength progress using the walker.
Mack continues Physical Therapy on shoulder muscles.
Through September, I did Physical and occupational therapy at home three times a week. This moved me forward to be able to do things (like put on my socks).
Three weeks ago at a regular doctors appointment, my surgeon had x-rays done and declared that my femur was 75% healed. (My ribs were healed immediately after the Rib Blade surgery on July 9th.)
Last week I was cleared to begin using a CANE instead of the walker. Woo hoo.
End of September, I graduated from being “homebound”.
My social life will be working with physical therapy but now going to work-out center in Redmond.
I’m not driving yet so Mack & I motor around together. ♥️
THANK YOU for lifting us in prayer. We ARE healing well.
Jeanie
