Hello, all, and thank you for your continuing interest and support and love.  Jean had a CT scan on Monday.  We had a meeting on Tuesday with Dr.  Jensen and her social worker.  She reported that the scan was neither great nor terrible.  Some growth of the tumor in the pancreas and some growth of the lesions on the liver, but no change in the ultimate result.

Jean is tired and very tired of being sick.  She has decided not to have any more treatment.  Today, she entered hospice.  She will remain at home.  The hospice team will be better able to manage her pain.  Methadone is the first step and she’s starting that tonight.

So there we are.  I will continue to give you updates, but if you want to say goodbye now would be a good time.
