Jayne’s Story

Site created on December 13, 2022

Hello, friends and family of Jayne! We hope this can be a place for you to receive updates on Jayne and her fight against cancer with humor, hope, and faith. Jayne was diagnosed with stage four endometrial cancer in November. She began chemotherapy early December and has completed one of six rounds. She hopes to complete all necessary chemotherapy and surgery by June. We are so grateful for each one of you, and your sweet support of Jayne through this journey. You are special to us, and your encouragement is invaluable.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Cameron Ford

Jayne completed her sixth (and final) round of chemotherapy mid-May. Her scans show the disease has been resolved (i.e. no evidence of disease). She is now moving forward to three-month checkups and scans.

Jayne and her family are thrilled with the good news! As many who have gone through a similar experience know, cancer is a journey and she will move into the monitoring phase.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers, text, emails, calls, and visits. The past six months have not been easy, and Jayne's recovery is because of each of you and by God's grace and power.

(Jayne would have liked to update everyone sooner these past few months, but her Caring Bridge Ghost Writer has been traveling :) )

Jayne, her husband, and her daughter look forward to planning a celebratory trip to France! Love you all!
