It's been a while since I gave an update for Jayden but he finished his 30 weeks of chemo last week and we thought we would be hearing a tentative date for his surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Instead yesterday the physician contacted Matt and told him that the way Jayden's tumor has reacted to the chemo he recommended doing radiation treatments at this point. We are not sure that means surgery later or not but Jayden and Matt are headed to Salt Lake Primary Children's Hospital on September 17th to start Jayden's 7 weeks of radiation treatments. Apparently he will have to have a treatment every day for 7 weeks.

I also wanted to give a huge shout out to Matt and Jayden for their diligence since February. We were told way back in February that there were certain things we could expect if Jayden were to be exposed to diseases or not keep his shots up or eat certain foods which could lead to transfusions, hospitalizations and other medical procedures to overcome the different repercussions of Jaydens health. To Matt and Jayden's credit they did such a great job in keeping him from large crowds, eating the right kinds of food and keeping his shots up that Jayden didn't have any of the problems we were warned could and probably would occur. 

I can't give them enough credit for the way they have dealt with this health problem. All of us help Matt and Jayden deal with this for hours, weeks and days while spending time with them. MATT AND JAYDEN deal with this EVERY minute of their lives we all get a break even though we are constantly thinking about them they NEVER get a break. We love you Matt and Jayden you guys are way stronger and determined than most of us.

So Matt and Jayden will have seven weeks of motels and meals if you can help please do and if you know of some organization that can help defray their costs please let me know.
