He had been going down the path seeking care for his back pain first and then for the GI symptoms.
After months of the symptoms worsening he went into the Emergency Department on 6/19. This visit is where we learned what was the culprit.
Devastatingly, his scans showed Pancreatic cancer with spread to the liver. He is classified as having incurable stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Jason has begun care at The City of Hope. Next he will undergo a tissue biopsy and a port placement to begin chemotherapy.
