Good morning! Jason had successful partial amputation of his left middle finger between his first and second knuckle on Wednesday evening. He continues to be in pain, but that is expected due to the surgery.
Asking for prayers for the pain to subside and he can return to a manageable pain level. He has a follow-up with orthopedic surgery on Tuesday in Fargo.
We also wanted to let everyone know that our daughter Halle recently received her testing results for Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1(the same as Jason’s) and those results have come back positive as well. She will be working with the muscle dystrophy clinic in Fargo for ongoing treatment and consultation.
We would also like to thank everyone for their generous donations on the GoFundMe site that our wonderful friends have started for us. It is very humbling to accept help and even more humbling and heart warming how much people in these small communities rally around those that are hurting. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
