Journal entry by Adam Haugeberg —
Well, it’s been exactly two weeks since Dad had his hemorrhagic cerebellar stroke that we thought was potentially even life threatening…and two weeks later, you wouldn’t even know from talking to him that anything even happened. He’s not using his walker nor even his cane. He’s insisting on being back at work. The only symptoms that have persisted is ringing in his ears, and not having his full energy back yet. Otherwise, he’s a walking miracle.
As his son, I’m inclined to believe that’s got a lot to do with the fact that he’s an incredibly strong man. But as a man of faith, I’m even more sure that his recovery and protection is due to the might of our loving Father God, and the powerful prayers of His people.
Again, our family cannot thank you enough for the greatest gift you all could have given: your prayers. May God bless each of you and continue to use you to minister through prayer and supplication. To God be all the glory!
With all of this said, I think it’s thankfully time to close this caring bridge. This will be my last journal, but feel free to comment and ask questions if you’d like. We’ll continue to check in here from time to time.
All the best,
Adam
