Journal entry by Jan Rattazzi —
Hi everyone,
I had a Cu Dotatate scan last Friday. I met virtually with my doctor on Thursday. I do have lymph nodes that are positive for my cancer. I am pleased that I had 7 years of being NED. That was quite uncommon and the return was expected; not wanted, but expected.
My doctor's plan is to scan again in 6 months to watch for any progression and then to determine the correct path for treatment. It may take just a shot a month or it may take a treatment called PRRT. PRRT is done in 4 treatments by IV weeks apart from each other. I am blessed to have a slow growing cancer with options for treatment.
Happy Holidays!
